Our Fiber Herd
All alpacas and dogs have SOLD
We are in the process of downsizing our fiber herd and are looking for homes for all our animals-this includes 2 LGD's. Both Great Pyrenees- one is 7yr old male and a 2yr old female (neither ideal for guarding chickens or other birds). We prefer they go with a group of the alpacas but may be willing to work out a different arrangement.
If interested in any of the herd, please contact us. We have a reasonable starting price per animal and are willing to make deals with multiple purchased-especially if the remainder of the herd is taken. Alpacas are herd animals, meaning you must have 3 or more. Males and females should not be housed/penned together (even if the male is gelded). They need a 3 sided shelter at minimum for protection from the weather and shade in the summer. Must be shorn once a year-we will share the contact info for our shearer if you are in need of one.
